I loved your flash fiction. I hope you attain at least some of your goals. 1/12 is not much...I love this statement: JDI :) I like you so much because you remind me of my son I left behind 5 years ago in NJ...not exactly..but it's all good.

I LOVE MY DROID!

I've never had a problem with the battery cover coming off. In fact, mine's difficult to get off when I need to. I did have a problem the first week when the touch screen function inexplicably stopped working, but I went to a Verizon store (in another state even) and they promptly replaced the phone.

And I think my reverse key is the one I use most often because of the scrolling and inadvertently touching a link... and off it goes. I didn't mean to do THAT. I think a little scroll bar would be an immense improvement.

Plus the DROID will be able to use Flash as soon as those Flash people at Adobe figure out how to make it available. The i(can't)Phone won't.

Hey Justin. You may know from TF2 F7LANS as Ouch. I came across your profile and noticed that you are in Tampa, FL. I'm in Saint Petersburg, so I got curious and found your site. I too have suffered awhile now from being over weight. It started gradually after I got out of the military and over the years kept working up. I always said I would never get up towards 300, that would be ridiculous, but now I find myself at 315! I hate it, my knees and legs hurt all the time when walking and I just don't generally like myself. So this year I too have made a decision as well to fix the problem. I'm cutting back on the portions, eliminating fast food runs, walking the dog ( he's happy ) and using a Wii Board to get me fat ass moving for at least 30 minutes a day. Its not easy by any stretch, but I got too do something now before I seriously endanger my health. Anyway, just thought I would share with you and wish you luck on your battle as well. Feel free to contact me and let me know how its going if you like.

I know the feeling. I hadn't had fast food from a major chain for years, and a friend bought me a McGriddle... I felt horribly sick afterward.

With my wife, we're doing two different routes. She's going yoga and Quong for her exercise. I'm doing free weights, an exercise bike, and general flexes and crunches. Not sure which is better but I think in the long term I'm burning more calories and building a better metabolism.

Since my wife began dieting in march, our whole household has had to live healthier and it is definitely addictive. I have begun walking with her in the evenings and find that i miss it a lot on those nights that we can't walk.

I also have found that a lot of the bad foods we used to eat make me sick if i sneak them in.(mcburgers in particular)

as for writing, I know I am much more productive if I feel good. a well rested and happy body lead to a happy mind.

glad to hear your doing well...

Thanks for the plugs, and I'm thrilled you enjoy the stories so much. That's what it's all about, entertaining the crap out of you and maybe exposing some cool science action at the same time.

<a href="#comment-244" rel="nofollow">@Alessandro</a>
I'm sure there are similar programs that are better but so far from what I've seen Amazon has been very easy to work with. I'll end up doing more research in time as the site grows, but for now I'm happy with Amazon.

Thanks for the comment!
