I would say the passing of another month so quickly comes as a surprise, but then I’d be repeating myself from the last several years. Looking over the first four weeks of the year I can’t judge whether I’ve done a good job or a bad job. Mentioned in a previous post, I’ve now officially lost my contest with Andrew. I didn’t reach my 100k words and the novel didn’t take off. It’s still sitting comfortably at 13k words, waiting for me to come back to it. This isn’t the first writing challenge I’ve lost, but I’m going to make it the last.
