Hi 2026, how’s it going?
What a year it’s been. There are many things to share in terms of new news HERE but rather than trying to catch the blog up on twenty months of nonsense we’re going to jump into the last 31 days and the awesome that I feel rather good about. 31 days of micro-writing, a quick sketch, and generally being a tad productive with things. An October worth remembering for my own personal barometer.
I’m part of the Eldritch Juice from Null Hell Mini-Mall cooperative Discord; home to several streamers, creatives, and the folks who’ve entered their orbits over the past four or so years. I joined shortly after their creation although my days streaming since its inception have been few and far between. A concern from another time. Though activity within the cooperative has waxed and waned over the years, we have tried to maintain a few traditions. Watching Over the Garden Wall together each autumn, distribute lovely music and creations, and to share and create each October in our Drawlloween challenge.

Our Drawlloween challenge is a personal hack of the drawing challenge from the AuGhost group. While we shift it over two months, we tend to follow the same prompts with the idea that folks are welcome to toss in their entries as they wish rather than the day of the specific prompt. It’s low stakes (except apparently for me). We’ve been keeping this challenge rolling since 2022, and while we’ve had a few stops along the way, it has continued in its creative flow.
Now, in previous years I’ve always posted the prompt, but for this set of days I managed to not just scribble a short bit of micro-fiction to align with the prompt, I was able to double down on a little animation to join in.
Dear reader, this is the first time I’ve managed a monthly challenge like this in years. I’ve poked a little in creative fields, worked on sprints like these but had to take little breaks in-between, but not this year. 31 days. 31 prompts. 31 micro-fictions. 31 animations.

I am exhausted but enthralled.
The habit has me wanting to share again, wanting to poke this place some more, and wanting to keep the fire going. We’ll talk more about what that means later, but for now enjoy the animations I’ve posted through this post. They’re some of my favorites.
I’m slowly adding the rest to my blue sky, which you can find at here. Might have more socials spawning in the future, but for now enjoy the segue.
It’s so good to see you all again. Talk more soon.
